Sequence Supervisor
One of my favorite shows of my career — the team was second to none, and while we had tremendous challenges ahead of us, no one was afraid.

There was a brief one-off shot during the basement scene, where a CG spider was expected to crawl up Dakota Fanning’s cheek and disappear into her hair. While brief, it would need to be at high enough quality to work as a featured element. As we got estimates from the teams for their individual components, the numbers kept going up.
I volunteered to take on the shot myself, with a budget of two working weeks spread out over six calendar weeks. Making steady progress in between other tasks and getting buy-in from colleagues, the shot was shown to Steven and was finaled on first take with a minor comp note.
